Exquisite Trims in Thread Crochet: Edgings, Corners, Crescents & More Reviews
Die Anleitungen in dem Buch sind sehr genau und teilweise bebildet. Sehr leicht zum Nacharbeiten und eine grosse Anzahl von Motiven fuer jeden Bereich: Kinder, Garten oder Armbaendchen Motive.
Bought this for my dd who has a little crochet experience, and it is very easy to follow and wonderfully laid out. There are beautiful color pictures, step by step instructions and charts of each stitch which help interpret directions. I am not a crocheter, and do not have any experience following crochet instructions yet I was able to figure out the instructions after reading them over a few times slowly and comparing them to the chart and the life size color photos of the stitch. The book starts off with easier stitches and then seems to get more advanced as it goes. There is also a wonderful introduction for beginners and those who need a refresher on stitches, symbols and supplies. DD has already taught herself how to do the first 3 stitches, and I hope to be able to find the time to learn myself. The patterns are absolutely charming!
A crocheted blanket without a trim is an unfinished project and this book has so many solutions that I love! The instructions are easy to follow, with them written out and depicted as a chart. However, please note that the patterns are written in British terms, not American.
This is the book I was looking for. I have purchased other books on making trims with crochet and/or knit. However, those only used yarn. This book meets the need I have for patterns using crochet thread. Many lovely patterns to choose from.
