GLORIOUS COLOR SOURCES FOR KNI Reviews
Ein umwerfendes Buch mit wunderbar starken Farben und Mustern, ich liebe es!Die englische Beschreibung ist gut verständlich und umsetzbar!
Kaffee Fassett is an iconic designer of knits. I have made many of his sweaters including several from this book. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I love the large amounts of color that are used in these sweaters. It is like painting with yarn. Challenging, but so worth it. It is too bad so many of his yarns have been discontinued, but there are great substitutes out there as well as treasure hunting on Ebay.
I gave this book a 5 star rating because it is loaded with "glorious color." I had been looking for a copy of this book for quite awhile.I don't knit or needlepoint, I'm a quilter and bookmaker. His use of color, where he gets his inspiration and how he uses color and pattern is helping me free up my fear of so much color and pattern being used together. Still hesitant but enjoying it now. I would recommend this book to anyone.
I love Kaffe! This book is a beautiful look into some of Kaffe's earlier work and the amazing colors and designs he surrounds himself with. This book is a pleasure to read and and it's full of inspiring photos.
Beautiful colorwork. I may never knit any of these but what great inspiration. It just makes you happy to look at the beautiful things he has created!
I owned this book when it came out. I always regretted selling it. Well now I have another copy. If Winter is too much, I open this book. It feels warm and comforting.
